Tutor Bangladesh is an online platform connecting qualified tutors with students seeking educational services. We facilitate the connection but are not responsible for the actual tutoring services provided.
Service Scope
Our services include: tutor-student matching, scheduling tools, payment processing, and communication facilitation. We do not guarantee specific educational outcomes.
Platform Limitations
We are not an educational institution and do not issue diplomas or degrees. Tutors are independent contractors, not employees of Tutor Bangladesh.
3. User Registration

You must be at least 13 years old to register. Users under 18 need parental consent

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration

Maintain and promptly update your account information

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Tutor Responsibilities
Qualifications & Verification
Tutors must provide accurate information about their qualifications, experience, and expertise. We reserve the right to verify credentials and conduct background checks.
Professional Conduct
Tutors must maintain professional behavior, arrive punctually for sessions, provide quality instruction, and communicate clearly with students/parents.
Content Quality
Tutors are responsible for the quality and accuracy of educational materials provided. Materials must be original or properly licensed.
5. Student Responsibilities

Attend scheduled sessions punctually and provide advance notice for cancellations

Maintain respectful and professional communication with tutors

Complete assigned work and actively participate in learning activities

Provide feedback to help improve the tutoring experience
6. Payments & Refunds
Payment Terms
All payments are processed through secure payment gateways. Tutors set their own rates, and we charge a service fee for platform maintenance and development.
Refund Policy
Refunds may be granted under the following circumstances: tutor no-show, technical issues preventing session completion, or service not as described. All refund requests must be submitted within 7 days.
Service Fees
We charge a 15% service fee on all tutoring sessions. This fee covers platform maintenance, customer support, and payment processing services.
7. Cancellation Policy
Student Cancellation
Students must cancel at least 24 hours before scheduled sessions to avoid charges. Late cancellations may result in partial or full payment to the tutor.
Tutor Cancellation
Tutors must provide at least 12 hours notice for cancellations. Repeated cancellations may affect tutor ratings and platform access.
Emergency Cancellations
In case of genuine emergencies, contact support immediately with appropriate documentation for consideration.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform content, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Tutor Bangladesh and protected by copyright laws. Tutors retain rights to their original teaching materials.
Users grant Tutor Bangladesh a license to use, display, and distribute user-generated content solely for platform operation and improvement. You may not copy, modify, or distribute platform content without explicit permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Tutor Bangladesh acts as an intermediary platform and is not responsible for the quality of tutoring services, educational outcomes, or interactions between tutors and students.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tutor Bangladesh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the platform.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion for violations of these Terms and Conditions or for any conduct we deem inappropriate.
Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease, and any outstanding payments will be settled according to our payment policies.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
